My Qualifications

I am a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics.  I hold all licenses and registrations required to advise clients on all personal financial matters.

Entering the financial services industry in 1985, I have compiled  real world experience, from being a stockbroker to managing 13 brokers in banks.  Knowing that the ultimate flexibility and happiness would be in "doing my own thing", I chose to become completely independent by affiliating myself with Advantage Capital Corporation.

Being an unbiased, independent advisor to clients has been pivotal to building trust and long term relationships.  I consider my independence paramount to providing the best possible results for my clients.  The results are achieved by being an objective advocate for my clients.

The best part of what I do is sitting down with families who need my help.  Through the use of the financial planning process,  I review your overall financial situation.  I thrive on the challenge of taking the complex world of investments, taxes, and insurance and use them to address your goals, values and objectives in a simple, yet meaningful, solution.

I am  dedicated to developing lasting relationships with all my clients. I believe in helping each person become confident in assessing his or her financial goals and participating in the financial management process. The personal program that I can provide is a roadmap to working toward a more secure financial future.

I am married to an elementary school principal and former high school teacher and coach.  The teaching/coaching mentality has rubbed off on me - as I am constantly educating, inspiring and cheering my clients towards their goals, whether it is an early retirement or getting kids through college.

I love conducting seminars and I write an occasional article for our local paper.  I co-founded the High Prairie Business Women's Association, which is a support network for women-owned businesses.  I have three children, thus I am anticipating overlapping college tuition bills (how's that for planning?). When not working, I can be found cheering at basketball, baseball, soccer, softball and equestrian events !!
